Fourth of July Celebration

We celebrated the Fourth of July at my sister April's house. The weather sure cooperated, last year it was 107!
Mom had the day off and enjoyed some "down time" on our Fourth of July Old Navy quilt.
Jaxon enjoyed his book!

Kim and Julina

My cousin Michelle's daughter, Kyra, she has the most beautiful eyes!

Kim took this picture of Tucker and me!

Aaron hosted the Coke Challenge. 9 cups. One of each: Coke, Pepsi, generic cola, Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi, Diet generic, Sprite, Slice? and generic lemon/lime. The challenge was to identify what was in each unidentified cup. Not as easy as you think, no one got them all right!

Westley where he loves to be...on his bike!

Wink...wink!
Jadon drinks his soda through the hole in the side of his can (after he dropped it)!

The cutest girl there!

Joshua picks a winner!

Audrey was playing with my Dad and he was loving it! I couldn't decide which pics to share so I decided to show the story of her using my Dad as a ladder to see over the fence.

The fireworks table....

Glowing in the dark.

This is how Joshua enjoyed the fireworks...with his ears covered, then he fell asleep!

My Dad played music all through the fireworks, it was awesome!

Weekend at the Webbs

Two weeks ago the Webbs moved to a new house (and city) for Justin's new position at work. We were sad to have them move even farther away, but they have a great new house, and backyard. We visited them on a quick overnight stay just before the Fourth of July. Lots of kids at the table inside, so the adults migrated outside!

The next morning the "big" girls enjoyed a nice walk around the beautiful new neighborhood and then came home for some Fun in the Sun and relax in the awesome pool. Our air mattress sprung a leak overnight so while we were gone Terry put the mattress in the pool to locate the leaking spot. Well...the mattress never made it out of the pool and it quickly became the day long attraction in the pool! Double high queen bed floating in the pool with the "Queens of the Pool"!
Aaron tried soaking up some rays to get rid of his baseball farmer tan.

The kids enjoyed the matress...as did the adults.

I'm not sure who enjoyed it the most...

It's a corny picture, but I couldn't resist posting it!

After a long day enjoying the pool and sun outside, this is what the inside looked like! Crashed and burned...

Aaron kept with the LaVine tradition of injuries on major holidays and almost went to the emergency room. He hurt his toe and it quickly swelled and turned purple, even under his nail. I called the Kaiser advice line and they said they wouldn't do anything for toes, so...we did nothing. The swelling is down now and back to normal.
The video below is a payback to Aaron after he drenched the girls on the air mattress...paybacks are .... so worth it!
