Jeremy and Gina went on a much needed overnight getaway and we became parents of 7 for the weekend. We went to the pool, in two cars, and had a great time. Terry bbq'd dinner and the kids swam. Fifth Grade Graduation
May 28th, 2009. Kimberlee leaves elementary school...yikes! I can hardly believe that my baby girl is so grown up! Here she is receiving the "Presidential Award" (with her good friend Brianna). They both maintained the highest grades in their school all 6 years at Dudley Elementary. Kim was so excited because it was "signed" by President Obama.

Receiving her diploma from her teacher, Mrs. Bergeron. Aaron had her as his 5th grade teacher also.
With Mr. Jordan and Mrs. Coronado, the principal and vice principal.
Proud Grandparents...
...and Grandma! The dress Kim is wearing was designed by the one and only...Kim Weaver! She sketched it out on a notepad during church one Sunday and showed it to Grandma Jill. The hunt began for the fabric and Aunt Tam found it in Utah! Kim cut out and sewed "most" of the dress with Grandma Jill's help. She looked so grown up wearing it!

We arrived home late on Sunday night so we could be home for the Memorial Day Parade. Kim's school band plays in it every year and last year we missed it. Since this is Kim's last chance to march with her band we made a special effort to be home in time.

Donner Lake
It was a great get-away weekend spent in the beautiful mountains of Donner Lake. We joined the Wilhelm family at the cabin they rented, it was right on the Lake and the kids LOVED it!
They paddled around the lake. Aaron and Logan even went all the way across!
They were a "little" wet...
Andrew helped keep everyone dry, ha ha ha!
Uncle James has a soft spot for Kim. He loaded her and Andrew and the dogs into the canoe to take her over to the dock where the other kids were. The water was only 57 degrees, too cold to enjoy a swim!
They rocked the dock...
The girls were able to get a ride back, but the boys were suppose to swim. Aaron did, but Logan didn't want to. James went back for him, but then...
that didn't work out so well...
Kim took pictures of the momma goose and her babies!
Kim and Chase went "fishing" for Aaron's shirt and sock that blew off the dock and into the water.
