Weaver Christmas Dinner

It's never easy finding a date when three nurses are off on the same date, but we found one and celebrated with a Christmas dinner on Sunday, December 20th! It sure is nice having a preschool in your home. We used the small table for the smaller cousins to sit at.

Then the wild ruckus began...Aaron cannot go a day without a wrestling match with Terry. Tonight he had two Uncles to wrestle with. Little did he realize that they are pretty good wrestlers like Terry. So...Aaron lost a few, okay every match!

I believe this move is called "The Fish Hook"???

Kim's LOVES to Dance!

I would say she is the cutest dancer and best singer on the stage...but I am a little biased. Kim did another great job this year at the Christmas Performance for Upstage. Here she is with her partner singing her part of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

Thanksgiving Trip to Utah and Idaho 2009

We started our trip to Utah right after preschool was over. Terry was loading the truck as my class was finishing our Thanksgiving Feast. My students left and we quickly cleaned up. I went and picked up Aaron and Kim early from school and we headed out of town. We didn't get too far out of town before the snow began to fall. We had to chain up in Baxter. This was Aaron's first experience putting on chains, he obviously did more playing than chaining!

It sure looked pretty outside, though.

As soon as we arrived at the Katoas Kimberlee and Tiarra just settled in to their usual good times....and set up a Monopoly game!

Aaron and James settled in to a movie and closed the door for boy privacy!

We left the Katoas on Sunday afternoon and stopped in Salt Lake City to walk around and enjoy Temple Square.

It was cold outside but we stopped long enough to catch a few photos!

There was a lot of nativites set up both inside and out. Aaron and Kim wanted to take the place of Mary and Joseph and sit really still. Then when onlookers least expected it, they would jump out and scare them...Christmas spirit for sure!

These three goofballs are crazy followers of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives...so we here we are in Salt Lake City looking for the place they've seen on the show. Terry looked it up on his blackberry and here we are, at the Red Iguana. I said to Terry, "This isn't a Diner or a Drive-In, are we eating at a Dive?" The outside looked run down and the inside decor was awful, but the food was great!

This is one of the things my children love about visiting Preston, ID besides their Great-Grandparents of course. They love riding on the quad. Aaron drove Kim all over the side yard. Good thing the quad has hand warmers on the handles because it was COLD outside!

One of Aaron's dreams came true on this trip. He had his hair cut at the Cuttin' Curral, where Napolean Dynamite had his haircut at. He has tried other times, but they have never been open. He walked in and made an appointment for the next day. Too funny!

Yes, these are my Grandma's bowling shoes!

We had a night on the town in Preston, ID down at Poppin' Pins on Thanksgiving Eve. My Dad, Terry, Me, Aaron, Kim and my Grandpa all went bowling. After we checked in and received our shoes the lady handed us some paper. I said, "What is this for?" as I turned to the lanes and noticed there was no computerized scoreboards hanging over the lanes. Oh great, we had to manually keep score. Luckily my Grandpa was there, he knows all the rules to every game and helped keep us honest in the scoring!

Thanksgiving Dinner. What a blessing it was to be there. My parents and Aunt Tam were there also.

Then, back out on the quad for some more driving around before we head back to Utah. Kim was driving me crazy, literally!

Back at the Katoas so Sarah and Terry and I could do some crazy shopping. We left at 11:30 for the stores that were opening at midnight.

Guess who came for a visit?

The other night my niece and nephews came over to visit while April took care of her hubby. She sent me a text to say, Batman, Spiderman and Elmo were on their way. Tucker came to the door and said, "Trick-orTreat" (just a few weeks late, but that's what he says every morning for preschool, too!)
