It was a beautiful Saturday morning when Scott, Tiffany, Grace and Noah stopped by.

We were outside cleaning the yard because there was finally sunshine. This is my nanking cherry bush...I know it just looks like a stick in the ground, but really it is a plant, and it made it through the winter. Thank goodness because this little plant has put on some miles already. He started in Idaho where Grandpa Sperry cut a start from his big bush. Grandma Jill brought him to California where he spent a winter in a pot (right after we moved). Finally he was put in the ground last summer and so far...he is still alive!

Here is our pea plants...lots of blossoms, can't wait for peas!

Just a few of our carrots, yahoo!

Noah thinks they are pretty good!

Grace washes hers off.

Kim and Noah looking for worms, and they found some!

Grandma Weaver was weeding the area around our small little SMUD trees...the stakes holding them up are larger in diameter than our poor little trees!

Noah shows off his worm!
