We looked out the window and what did we see...?!
It's Easter morning...(not to mention my birthday). Most people would open their front door and hope to see brightly colored Easter eggs hidden in the grass, not so much what happened at our house.

Easter Eve
This is how the night started...jumpin'off the walls!
...sometimes with a 180-head first flip...
...but then Kelly came crashing down. She had nice timing with only a few minutes left on our time slot. Long story, but she later had surgery...
I went out with my mom and sister to join some other friends at Sky High...pretty much the most fun ever! Trampolines everywhere and we celebrated Julie's 50th birthday. After jumping around for an hour we stopped in at Old Navy and then to Kohls to spend some expiring Kohls cash. My mom dropped me off around 10:30 and was driving home. I was getting ready for bed when Terry called for me and said, "Your mom's been in a car accident!" She had just left my house so she wasn't far, North Loop and Walerga. A girl ran a red light and t-boned into my mom. My mom's air bags deployed and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. They kept her for a few hours for observations and she earned eight stitches!
When Terry and I were driving home we found that the Davis' house had been TP'd so we cleaned it up since it was suppose to rain tonight and they were out of town for the Easter weekend. We collected the plastic bin of TP and the wrapped TP that had been left behind, we must have busted them in the act!Thursday, April 1, 2010
April Fool's Day...got him!
Aaron said he was getting us back this year for the "frog" incident last year on April Fools Day...he almost went the whole day before realizing what day it was, his Dad didn't let him forget...hee hee hee!
Becky's Day Out...sorta...
It's Easter break, no school...ahhh! That's what I had hoped for, but...my afternoon out with Dina turned out differently. We did to eat lunch together, however it was down the street from the DMV. The DMV that I HAD to go to because they had the shortest wait time, yeah right! I wasn't even planning to go the DMV that day because I was going on Friday to renew my license which was about to expire. Rich says, it's furlough Friday...they're closed tomorrow. They were closed yesterday, too because it was Caesar Chavez day, do these people ever work??!!
So...after standing in line to get a number we sat for a short while and quickly realized this would be a forever wait. We went to lunch and came back, then sat.

Really Aaron...you want me to blog this?
I can't believe I'm even typing words to go with these pictures. Aaron has had this wart bothering him for awhile so I made a Dr. appointment so he could be seen. We've been trying OTC meds to get rid of it, but nothings working and he really needs to get rid of it before he runs his upcoming race.
The first pic wasn't good enough, "Get closer to it," he said. Sheesh! Aaron was all fine and dandy till the Dr. said that he would freeze the other one off (not this big one)...with dry ice...aka...liquid nitrogen! Aaron is a chemistry fan so he immediately started freaking out and spouting out all kinds of chemistry terms and facts about liquid nitrogen. His Dr. agreed and said that Aaron was right, but still said he needed to freeze the smaller wart. My son calmed down and had his baby wart frozen. Then he was able to do some fun stuff in the hospital hallway with the leftover dry ice, ask him about it!

Meeting Claire in San Francisco on Mom's Birthday
During Easter break Kim and I took a quick trip to San Francisco with my Mom and Dad. Kimmie (Josh's girlfriend) and Claire flew up to visit Kimmie's brother with her mom. We couldn't pass up an opportunity to visit them, even if just for a few hours!
We took the windy drive down Lombard Street to show Kim...
We took the windy drive down Lombard Street to show Kim...Aaron and baseball, again!
It's that time of year again, already! The team has been conditioning together since December and officially practicing every day they can when it's not raining. The first official game was February 20th and then 25 more games will take us to the end of the season on May 13th...baseball season lasts forever!
Ruth took some great pics of Aaron pitching, thank you! I love to see every move and how much Aaron puts into each pitch!
