LaVine Craziness!

I am one of the luckiest Aunties around! My brother Jeff, his wife Angel and his two chilren, Timmy and Joely stayed at our house for the week. The kids were in heaven, waking up to a preschool full of toys everyday!

Timmy helped me cut up my leftover pirate stickers from summer school.

A great swim day at Creekside Pool. It is always the perfect place to gather.

Dave Wilhelm and Terry catch up. It was perfect that his family was visiting here from Utah while Jacob and Levi were in town.

A pool full of family!

White Wisonsin boys...Jeff and Timmy.

My cousin Jason (visiting from Utah) and Kyra, my 2nd cousin.

Levi
Kim encourages her Uncle Eric to get in the pool.

Audrey shows Papa Doug the right way to get dressed.
My very special Grandparents visiting from Idaho.

Papa Sperry helps Audrey play ping-pong.

How much junk can one girl eat?
Cat, Rich, Jay, Tucker and Christina.

Tucker...under the table...trouble of course!

Westely and April working on their s'mores and s'miles!

Sunday dinner at our house...the place was packed! Mom, Maria, Jerry, James.

Levi.

Jacob, Kim, Jeremy, Jason, Aaron.

Kyra and her babies.

Taylor, Josh and Shelly (at the kids table).

Timmy, Jeff and Joely at the other kids table.

Jason shows us his belly trick! Must've been something he learned in Australia!

Grandma Jill plays with her grandkids after dinner...
...and lets Joely brush her hair with the doll's brush.

Nice backpack Josh!

All the grandkids are sitting on the stairs and these are all the goofy adults trying to get them to look at one camera...yeah, right!

A day at Marine World. It was a long and great day! The kids (and kids at heart) rode on rides, got wet, rode rides, got more wet. We saw animal shows and at Johnny Rockets, thanks Mom.

Westley enjoys his lemonade slushie.
Josh and Jacob (after he lost his glasses on the "Kong" ride). Oops!

This is one of my favorites. The ride operator said "put your hands in the air" and little Joely did. We were laughing!

We were on the first three rows of this ride...and yes, we were soaked!

Kim rode on V2 with me.
And we even talked my Dad into riding this one. He may never ride another ride again...Eric and Laurie like this one though!

Levi and I rode the Cobra, just before it closed!

Don't worry Mom...they won't sink!

Another great afternoon at the pool.
Eric and Dad face off in a friendly game of ping-pong.

The diving contest...Jacob!

Singing Happy Birthday to all the August birthdays...Jacob, Levi, Tucker, Aaron and Dad.

The Folsom Lake adventure...oh my goodness! It's never as easy as just "going to the lake." There is always something to do to check on the boat, mechanically speaking. So...we left from my dad's later than originally planned. After arriving at Folsom we drove across the lake and found a great picnic spot with shade and unloaded the boat. We ate our subway sandwiches and then got ready to head back to the dock to get April, her kids and Terry.
and found this...
...the bottom of the boat was FULL of water, at least 12 inches. We bailed with plastic bags, gatorade bottles and the ice chest. It seemed we were getting nowhere so Dad and Eric decided to drive the boat back to the dock and pull it out of the water. As they drove away my mom and I didn't think they'd make it all the way without sinking, seriously!

But...they made it back after fixing a leak and getting the rest of the family. I've never seen an ice cream man boat, but here it is. The second time this week my dad has bought ice cream for us from an ice cream man.
Terry works on the wakeboard for Aaron.
Hold on tight Aaron and Kim!
Jacob and Aaron.
Westley, Aaron and Tucker.
Levi. Eric takes a turn and Dad works hard to spill him off!
My turn...if I didn't marry Terry I may have married this slalom ski, cause I love it soo much!
